This Privacy Policy explains how SeeTigerLearn collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with your use of ModScope. By using ModScope, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Who We Are

SeeTigerLearn is the developer of ModScope, a Reddit-native moderation analytics application built on the Devvit platform. ModScope is designed to operate entirely within Reddit's infrastructure, with no external data collection by SeeTigerLearn.

2. Information ModScope Accesses

ModScope accesses Reddit content and community data solely through Reddit's official Devvit APIs in order to provide its analytics features. This includes:

Post metadata: titles, creation timestamps, upvote scores, comment counts, flair labels, author usernames, and post URLs within subreddits where ModScope is installed.
Comment thread structure: reply depth and creator participation signals used for engagement scoring.
Subreddit metadata: subscriber counts and community configuration accessible via Reddit's API.
Moderator preferences: display theme selection and configuration settings saved per moderator account.

ModScope does not access private messages, user account credentials, payment information, off-platform activity, or any data outside of what Reddit's Devvit platform APIs provide in the context of an authorized subreddit installation.

3. How Information Is Stored

All data processed by ModScope is stored exclusively within Reddit's native Redis storage layer provided by the Devvit platform. SeeTigerLearn does not operate independent servers, cloud databases, data lakes, or any third-party storage infrastructure in connection with ModScope. Specifically:

Post analytics and engagement metrics are stored in a normalized, time-series schema within Reddit's Redis instance associated with the subreddit's ModScope installation.
Moderator display preferences (e.g., theme selection) are stored per Reddit username within the same Redis instance.
Scheduled job history and scan metadata are stored within the same subreddit-scoped Redis environment.

SeeTigerLearn has no direct access to the data stored in your subreddit's Reddit Redis instance. That data is controlled by Reddit's infrastructure and is subject to Reddit's own data retention and security policies.

4. How Information Is Used

Information accessed by ModScope is used solely to provide the features of the ModScope application to authorized moderators of the subreddit in which it is installed. This includes:

Generating community analytics reports including engagement scores, posting trend analysis, and content type distribution.
Producing Prime Posting Times recommendations based on historical engagement patterns.
Rendering the Content Word Cloud based on post title language within the subreddit.
Supporting scheduled automated scans of the subreddit's post pool.
Restoring moderator display preferences between sessions.

ModScope does not use any accessed data for advertising, third-party profiling, machine learning model training, or any purpose outside of delivering the ModScope feature set to the installing subreddit's moderators.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

SeeTigerLearn does not sell, rent, trade, or share any data accessed by ModScope with third parties. Because ModScope stores all data within Reddit's infrastructure rather than SeeTigerLearn's systems, SeeTigerLearn does not transmit subreddit data to any external party.

SeeTigerLearn may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

If required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.
To protect the rights, property, or safety of SeeTigerLearn, Reddit users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

ModScope retains analytics data within Reddit's Redis storage for the duration configured by the moderator in the ModScope Settings view (default: 180 days). When a snapshot is deleted by a moderator, ModScope removes the associated Redis keys for that scan. When ModScope is uninstalled from a subreddit, Reddit's Devvit platform manages the deallocation of the associated Redis storage in accordance with Reddit's platform policies.

SeeTigerLearn does not maintain copies of your subreddit's ModScope data outside of Reddit's storage layer and therefore cannot independently restore data following deletion.

7. Individual Reddit User Data

ModScope accesses Reddit usernames as part of post authorship metadata for the purpose of engagement analysis and bot/official account exclusion filtering. ModScope does not build individual user profiles, track user behavior across subreddits, or store user data beyond what is necessary for aggregate community analytics within a single subreddit installation. Moderators may configure ModScope to exclude specific usernames (e.g., bot accounts) from analytics calculations.

8. Children's Privacy

ModScope is intended for use by Reddit moderators and is not directed at individuals under the age of 13, or under the applicable age of digital consent in their jurisdiction. SeeTigerLearn does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through ModScope, please contact us so we may take appropriate action.

9. Security

ModScope relies on Reddit's Devvit platform security for the protection of stored data, including Reddit's authentication, authorization, and infrastructure security controls. SeeTigerLearn follows secure development practices in building ModScope and does not introduce external network calls, third-party scripts, or external data transmission beyond Reddit's platform APIs. However, no system is completely secure, and SeeTigerLearn cannot guarantee absolute security of data within Reddit's infrastructure.

10. Reddit's Privacy Practices

Because ModScope operates entirely within Reddit's platform, Reddit's own Privacy Policy also applies to data processed in connection with your use of ModScope. 11. Changes to This Policy

SeeTigerLearn may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be made available within the ModScope application listing or SeeTigerLearn's official documentation. Continued use of ModScope after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
